About Me

Malverne, New York, United States
I am the proud mother of three boys and I also work full-time. Stamping and scrapbooking are my favorite ways to spend any spare time. I'm a Stampin' Up demonstrator and enjoy sharing the craft with anyone who's interested. This blog will be a cool way to share updates with friends and family both in the U.S and in Ireland. All going well I will post regular news of what's going on with the Careys in Malverne

The first one flees the nest

The minivan is packed up and everything is ready to transfer Steven to SUNY Binghamton. Hard to believe it's already been a year since he graduated High School. Because he stayed home last year and went to Adelphi where he was a member of the track team we have had him home a year longer than we expected. So tomorrow is the day - he's excited and ready! We're leaving at 5:30am so hopefully we'll beat any traffic.

We had the "going away" dinner tonight and I told him he can send his order for favorite dinner the first time he comes home......! I have a stash of Irish Cadbury's chocolate to leave in his room for him as a surprise - who needs real food!

More photos from Stampin' Up Convention

Since I have nothing new to tell today I've decided to share a few more photos from the Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City. We were at a BBQ before leaving on the Saturday night and this was the gorgeous view of the mountains. It was unseasonably cool for SLC in Summer - only in the eighties most of the time.

Pink Ribbon Card

A card I made for a friend who's recovering from surgery. I won the Ribbon Stamp at the Splitcoast Dinner during the Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City.
